An Update to the Thai visa tightening

This friend of mine went to Thai Embassy on Monday to apply for a visa, today he got a 3 month single entry visa, that is the best he can obtain now. It can only ease his immediate urgency at the expense of some further pains.

With this visa he can now spend Song-Kan the Thai New Year in April with his wife & children in Thailand, but from now until May he can not come back to visit Singapore.

The alternative was to apply for a Multiple-Entry 3 month visa, but in order to satisfy that, the Thai govt now enforce a strict requirement for Singaporean applicants to show a huge deposit bank statement. For a year of such visa e.g. will require Singaporean applicant to show an amount of 400,000 Thai bhats.

In the long past such requirement was much lower amount and was almost NOT enforced on Singaporeans. It reflects and when relationship between Singapore and Thailand were good, their immigration policy was slack and ultra friendly.

Frequent Thai long term visa applicants said that for many years when they renewed annual visas, they had prepared the required Bank Statements but the Thai Embassy at Orchard didn't even asked the applicants to show this supposedly required documentary proof.

Right now, it is not only strictly enforced against Singaporeans, but also since the coup that ousted Thug-Sin, DOUBLED the amount of this big sum of money required to apply for such regular visa.

This is my update to the matter.

Singapore - Thai family victimized by famiLEE LEEgime

Angry Thais continues to protest against Singapore outside airbase

With the on-going hostility and sored Singapore - Thailand relation, I am personally witnessing direct family suffering affecting Singaporean and Thai peasants. Without disclosure of personal information, I am posting on this blog, a true case of Singapore -Thai family tribulation.

I personally know a Singaporean citizen who used to be very well employed in some public listed GLC and before that was a well paid civil servant. During the famiLEE LEEgime's economic down turn, he was retrenched by GLC, became unemployed and divorced. He picked up his middle age live again in Thailand, married happily with a Thai citizen and live there with their children. I had personally seen his Thai wife once with their 4 year old daughter.

This friend of my manage a family farm in Thailand's north, where mongrel Thug-Sin had his political stronghold. In the past 7 years he lived in Thailand peacefully and frequently visit his family in Singapore as well as us - his friends. The Thai immigration had not even once given him a problem.

This Chinese New Year as usual, my friend returned to visit his Singaporean family and friends during CNY, and on his arrival flying back to north Thailand, he got a shock by Thai immigration authority refusing his entry. And he had only got this problem for nothing but being a Singaporean, because the Singapore - Thai relation is deep shit which had never been worst.

This is an agony for my friend and his family in Thailand, especially his children. His farm also needs his management and his wife can not cope alone. I understand that he had taken his wife and child from North down to Bangkok with certificate of marriage and child's certificate of birth etc to apply for his entry paper, but unsuccessful.

My friend speaks very good Thai language, and the Thai official frankly told him that they are not the ones wanting to preventing him from Thailand, but it is the Singaporean govt of famiLEE LEEgime wanting the Thai side to help curb Singaporean quitters. Frankly my friend had wanted to give up his Singapore citizenship because he want to withdraw all his CPF savings to buy farmland in Thailand.

I am told that Thai immigration regulation had CHANGED AGAINST Singaporeans since Oct 2006, that Singaporeans are not allowed to stay in Thailand longer than 90 days in any 365 days, unless there is a specially approved visa, wef Oct 2006.

Why OCT 2006?

It is since Thug-Sin's ouster and relationship turned sore between Singapore and Bangkok!

Turned back by Thai immigration, my friend who had not slept for his entire travel night, had to take the next budget airline out of north Thailand, unable to even see his awaiting family at the airport. Not to say wasting the air tickets on a frustrating trip. I was surprised yesterday by seeing him back in Singapore, because I know that he just flu back to Thailand.

Sure as hell, my friend KPKB. Today and tomorrow the Thai Embassy is closed, he can only go on Monday to just find out what are his reminding options under this current situation.

I suggested that he protest outside famiLEE LEEgime's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. But he is too lawful a Singaporean for that. Just another silent victim, just Lan-Lan take the suffering from LKy famiLEE LEEgime as usual.

My friend is I am sure not the only victim under this current Singapore Thai situation. I am sure there are other Singaporean - Thai family suffering due to this. LKy famiLEE LEEgime did a filthy collaboration with bloody Thug-Sin, and now not only huge losses, our people from both nations are suffering & being unhappy against each other.

Big mass the famiLEE LEEgime's million dollar govt got our Rep of Singapore pin into hostility with Malaysia; Thailand and Indonesia. These corrupts' days are numbered.

famiLEE LEEgime putting Dr Chee Soon Juan in prison during Chinese New Year

Monday 26.Feb2007 subordinate court of famiLEE LEEgime is scheduled to sentence Dr. Chee Soon Juan for trying to attend World Movement for Democracy in Istanbul Turkey under the LEEgime's filthy Bankruptcy Act. Dr. Chee was sued bankrupt by lame old depot Lee Kuan Yew and minion Goh Chok Tong, with their notorious defamation suits. The LEEgime's Immigration and Custom Authority stopped Dr.Chee at the Changi Airport and took away his passport.

Dr. Chee had been placed not just in country arrest for the last 2 years, and also in prison for giving speeches during General Election 2006.

Calling for Human Rights Attention on Organ Plundering

I am calling for international human Rights watchers and medical ethic watchers to look into an incident of human organ removal for transplantation which occur ed at Singapore General Hospital, from a victim Mr. Sim Tee Hua age 43, on Tuesday, 6th February 2007. The removal of Mr. Sim's organ was done with strong objection of all the family members and relatives who put up a struggle physically at the hospital against the police and security guards enforcing a controversial organ transplantation law.

In the process of the enforcement physical force were used, and caused great distress and pain to to family members of Mr Sim, including his elderly relatives. This added unnecessarily to much to the family members who are already in deep grievances and pain.

I call for the matter to be investigated openly and made known globally via Internet. In Singapore unfortunately only international pressure can help to improve the human rights situation, as it has become increasingly aware that the regime is in such a brutal nature.

Please refer to the forum discussions on this matter given in the above URL links.
