Pre-Departure Statement / Interview with Mr. Gopalan Nair

This is pre-departure statement from Mr. Gopalan Nair when I sent him off at Changi Airport yesterday evening. Click the URL on just before this sentence to view another video clip taken at the airport.

These are the words from Mr. Nair biding goodbye to Singaporeans and encouraging Singaporeans to fight on against famiLEE LEEgime. He assured that we will win and he shared his valuable experience.

In the recent decade since after Barisan Socialist's era until today, no opposition fighter had been sentenced longer than Mr. Gopalan Nair's 3 months for calling Berlinda Ang a prostitute for the famiLEE during the notorious defamation suit against the SDP. This is not a very long sentence compared with ISA and other detentions suffered by the elder generation fighters from Barisan Socialist's era, that Mr. Chia Thye Poh was imprisoned without trial for 27 years.

This is imposed on Mr. Nair who is now not even a Singaporean citizen. It shows clearly that Old Dog Thief Lee Kuan Yew's famiLEE LEEgime is getting so increasing frightened and desperate during the recent years.
